85-2 was a smallish Snowy Owl, or Bubo scandiacus, of unspecified gender. They were among the many tragic souls captured by thugs of St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls who suffered the fate of being moon blinked. Their final fate is unknown, but it's likely that they were killed during the Pure Ones invasion on St. Aggie's or conscripted into Kludd's forces.

The Capture[]
During their first sleep march following Spoorn and Skench's attempt to moon scald them, Soren and Gylfie experienced a sickening lurch of fear when the alarm was sounded a single sleep correction monitor swept past them, only to find that the source of the alarm was 85-2, who had been caught sleeping incorrectly, head tucked beneath their wing, which rendered the power of the moon useless. This was swift corrected by the owls of the twisted institution holding 85-2 captive.
