Blackmore was a dire wolf pup with a black coat and a member of the MacHeath Clan during the time of the first Fengo.

The Coming of Hoole[]
Blackmore was born to Dunleavy MacHeath and one of his several mates. His father was known for treating his family badly and was often violent towards the other MacHeath wolves whenever he lost his temper.
Blackmore once had been kicked hard by Dunleavy, which caused him to stumble around dazedly half the time. Blackmore and his littermates mainly avoided Dunleavy out of fear and knew not to be in the way whenever the chieftain was angry. It is unknown what happened to him after his step-mother Hordweard left the clan and killed Dunleavy.
