Blacksmithing is one of the nine chaws of the Great Ga'Hoole Tree. It is currently taught by Bubo, the Tree's resident blacksmith. When an owl is tapped for the Blacksmithing Chaw, they must earn their Forge Safety Certificate, before they can properly start blacksmithing.
Duties[]
Forging armour, battle claws, weapons and various other things like pots and pans.
Trivia[]
- The Blacksmithing Chaw is the only chaw that was excluded from the official chaw symbol chart for the movie, yet it is present in the movie, even having a small scene dedicated to it. It is possible that the chaw was lumped in with the Colliering Chaw.
