When Crannog approaches and pesters Sveep, Blair arrives to reprimand her son for disrespecting Sveep by not assuming the submissive position, as Sveep is considered of higher rank than them as a friend of the chieftain, Namara.
Blair participates as a member of the MacNamara Byrrgis, led by Gyllbane, sent by Coryn in a mission to destroy the sterile Hagsfiend eggs that Nyra's recent Blue Owl followed brought to the Ice Talons peninsula to be cared for and hatched as a regiment of hagsfiends. When they attack the broodies, Blair's ear is nearly ripped off by a blue owl, who Blair kills swiftly. Despite her injuries, however, the MacNamara Wolves, with the aid of the Greenowls of Ambala, are successful.
