Blyrric is male Barn Owl, or Tyto alba, and a Pure Ones lieutenant. He has a missing eye he lost presumably in battle with enemies of the Tytonic Union, such as the Guardians or St. Aggie's.
Blyrric's current status is unknown, for while he was among the few Pure Ones left remaining and encamped in the St. Aegolius Canyons after the death of Kludd, by the series of events that issued the beginning of the War of the Ember, Nyra's original followers had been reduced to four loyal Barn Owls, which Blyrric was not listed among. Assuming he did not die from unspecified circumstances during the period of months between Nyroc's defection and the Battle of the Book, Blyrric presumably either fled into Beyond the Beyond, escaped to the Northern Kingdoms or deserted the Pure Ones and their entire ideology in the hopes of starting afresh.
