Brother Cedric was an elderly Great Grey Owl and a Glauxian Brother from the time of the legends.
Brother Cedric is not to be confused with Cedric, an owl of the same name who worked as a Ambala infiltrator of St. Aggie's

When Siv made her way to the unnamed island in the Bitter Sea, she approached the Glauxian Brothers to see if she could get any information about Grank and Hoole living on the island. When Cedric informed her that Brother Berwyck had been the only one to interact with the owls, she asked if she could speak to him, but he then told her that Berwyck had left on a pilgrimage to the Southern Kingdoms.
