During his time as a member of the Glauxian Brothers, Fritzel was present when the famous gadfeather known as The Snow Rose sang to the Brotherhood.
The Coming of Hoole[]
Fritzel was present to welcome The Snow Rose and 'Elka' when they arrived, greeting the gadfeather with gracious politeness, to the Snow Rose's delight. Commenting that The Snow Rose's arrival was well-timed, for it coincided not with a period of silent mediation, Fritzel courteous requested that The Snow Rose honour them with a song. Going on to inquired to the identity of the Spotted Owl that had accompanied the Snowy singer, who The Snow Rose introduced as Elka. Greeting the disguised deposed Queen with politeness, Fritzel's curiosity was pricked when 'Elka' commented that Brother Berwyck's voyage to the S'ythghar was a 'daring' act, which he was in earshot.
