Cailean is a Dire wolf in the time of the Legends of Ga'Hoole. They are one of the wolves that accompanied Hoole in search of hagsfiends in the Desert of Kuneer. Their gender is unknown.

When Hoole and a group of dire wolves were in the Desert of Kuneer to destroy the hagsfiends there, Cailean was one of the three wolves who went with Hoole to search for them.
