Cody's Great-Grandmother was a female Dire Wolf belonging to the MacDuncan Clan, but who's family, through some unexplained reason, found its way into the MacHeath Clan.

Whilst introducing embassies from the MacDuncan Clan to Cody, Lord MacHeath, in a subtle attempt to secure the purposefully maimed wolf pup a place in the Sacred Watch, mentioned Cody's Great-Grandmum as he inquired if Duncan MacDuncan knew of Cody's relation to his own clan.

- It is unknown whether she is alive or dead at the time of the Chronicles of Coryn and the death of her great-grandson, although it is most likely she's dead.
- It is currently unknown whether Cody's Great-Grandmother was the grandmother of Gyllbane or of Cody's father, nor if she shared her maimed descendant's creamy pelt (such a coloration would indicate that Cody was of maternal MacDuncan ancestry).
- It is unspecified how her descendants found themselves among the wolves of the MacHeaths when she herself was a MacDuncan, but it is possible she or her offspring left or were banished from the clan.
