History[]
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (video game)[]
Cormac studied at the Perrock Monastery before it fell, and was present during the attack, being one of the few to escape. His home, the Ruins, was attacked by the hagsfiends who were sent by Allomere. The hagsfiends captured him and the rest of the monks, turning the Ruins into a fleck mine with a Devil's Triangle to hold the prisoners. Cormac managed to escape after being injured, and met up with Shard and Parzival. They helped him rescue the monks from the hagsfiends.
Cormac is the only known owl to have attempted to reason with the hagsfiends for peace. He did not succeed, due to there being a greater evil at play controlling the hagsfiends. After telling Shard about his father's valiant effort to push back against the hagsfiend intruders at Perrock, he gives Shard Grettir's battle claws.
