When investigating in the Tyto Forest on Ezylryb's orders, Shard is tasked with rescuing Corrso by Resistance leader, Bryony. Imprisoned by Pure Ones, Shard fights his way through to save Corrso. When he is brought back to the Resistance headquarters, Corrso tells of an incoming attack from the Pure Ones on the headquarters itself. With the Pure Ones' plans to use fire, the Resistance sends out the Water Chaw in response.
