Drusilla is a Western Screech Owl, or Otus kennicottii, who was a kraal. She was half-a-moon older than Fritha and often engaged in battles.

Drusilla was among a small raiding party that arrived covered in blood. She delightedly bragged to Fritha, a friend of her's, about killing an owl for the first time, which Fritha admiringly answered. This convinced Flinn that he didn't want his daughter to become like her.
