The Foaming-mouth disease is a disease that primarily infects dire wolves, but can infect any creature that gets bit by one that is sick. The disease causes one to foam from the mouth, and they would go mad until they died. If a wolf has splayed paws, stumbles about, and has harsh breathing that is described to sound like they're "breathing chunks of ice," those are clear signs that they are infected with the disease.
