The Rise of a Legend[]
During their visit to the island of Dark Fowl following a mercenary attack on the Ice Dagger harvesting unit led by the Ice Talons' deputy commander, Lyze and Moss were led by their fathers and Rolf passed a grog tree where they heard an owl boasting to Igor about a battle against an enemy Eagle Owl and Great Gray. As he described how he had ridden a sudden wind beneath the two followers of Bylyric, Igor's friend asked Igor to move a snapped off twig to a position to indicate the position of the enemy encampment, which Igor obeyed. Raskin and Arne both expressed their disgust at the practice of such boasting, telling their sons that war was a terrible thing carried out to save innocent from tyranny, not something to brag on over bingle juice.
