History[]
Lost Tales of Ga'Hoole[]
Along with his mate, Gertrude, and their son, Marquis Henryk VI, Henryk, during a stay in the Firth of Canis, agreed to a dinner hosted by Rodmilla Plonk, who was attempting to seal a marriage between Henryk's son and her own stepdaughter, Brunwella. However, given that Rodmilla was in reality a slipgizzle of the Ice Talons, who Henryk was implied to be heavily connected with, Henryk and his clan might have at been acting under the orders of Bylyric when they attended to event.
Arriving in the lead with Gertrude, Henryk's answer to Rodmilla's sycophantic inquiry to their flight was to grumble, claiming the flight to be as "dreadful as dreadful [could] be", then later cut into his mate's conversation with Rodmilla, reassuring the latter his exhaustion would be nothing a cup of strong bingle juice would not cure, making an instant beeline towards the net cups that contained such a mixture without any direction. Unlike his mate and son, Henryk was observed by the Plonk Sisters to have a thirst only for bingle juice so that as the night dragged on, he grew more and more drunken, finally growing coherent enough to toast Rodmilla, who he credited as a gracious hostess, praising both the quality of the juice served and the beauty of her stepchild, hurriedly correcting himself to include Thora in his praise, then churring politely and with slight discomfort when Thora burst out into unexpected laughing, which Henryk interpreted to be the churr of a slightly-tipsy owl.
Rodmilla, after being exposed as an infiltrator for the forces of the Ice Talons, she revealed that Henryk VI had been motivated to propose to Brunwella at least partially on her orders, as the whole dinner had been part of Rodmilla's plan to marry of Brunwella to Henryk's clan and thus strengthen their firth's allegiance to Bylyric, while also restricting her mate Berrick's contact with the Resistance. This implies that Henryk V, like his son, might have been aware, at least partially, of Rodmilla's double life.
