Nillja (formally known as Captain Nillja Micrathene Whitneyi) was an Elf Owl (Micrathene whitneyi) member of the Kielian League, specifically known for distinguishing herself as a superb strategist in the Frost Beaks unit. She is a parliament member on Dark Fowl Island.

Captian Nillja is briefly seen during the parliament meeting on Dark Fowl, while Lyze is presenting his ideas for future battle tactics. She scoffs at his idea of smaller, specialized groups of owls along with the others. When General Andricus decides to approve Lyze's idea and form the Glauxspeed Division, Nillja is confused and flabbergasted.
