History[]

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole[]

Pete was owlnapped by the owls of St. Aegelious, and was flown in by a Great Horned Owl. When Grimble looks at Pete, saying some would be pickers, he protests.

Later on, when the non-tyto owlets and Soren and Gylfie are sent to sleep under the full moon, Soren and Gylfie escape moon-blinking, and in the morning Soren is shocked to see Pete's blank expression, his eyes looking like the moon. He shakes his wing in front of Pete, who does not respond, only slowly turns away to follow the Pure Ones' orders to go to pelletorium.

Pete was among the group of owlets placed in the Beaks to lure the guardians into the fleck trap. He was later rescued by the Guardians and taken back to the Great Tree. He's seen celebrating with Eglantine when the members of the Band are pronounced Guardians.

In the final, when Soren says that Kludd was never found, he says "Should I stop?" to the owlets, who have snapped out of their moon-blinking, and it is revealed that he was telling them the story of the Band and the guardians' battle with the Pure Ones. Pete, wearing a helmet of leaves, gasps, and along with the other owlets, begs him not to, saying that there must be more.

Trivia[]

  • There's a split second during the bat battle sequence where two models of Pete can be seen on screen at the same time.
  • During the scene where Eglantine is carried to the Great Tree in a basket, Pete can be seen amid the crowd of onlookers, despite the fact that he is still at St. Aggies at that time.
