Sir Bors was a male Barn Owl, or Tyto alba, who was a member of the first parliament created by Hoole. He was then appointed to be the first ryb of the newly created Navigation Chaw during the time of the legends of Ga'Hoole.

Life before the Books[]
Sir Bors, was a member of the H'rathian Guard and knight of the royal court prior to Arrin's rebellion, which he survived. Bors was later among the troops of H'rath rallied to battle once again by Siv to join the Battle of the Sacred Ring, fighting Arrin's army and surviving to witness Hoole's retrieval of the Ember of Hoole.
To Be a King[]
Sir Bors was present at the first parliament meeting. When Hoole said that they should use the Great Ga'Hoole Tree to teach owls different things, Sir Bors asked for examples. Hoole then said that Sir Bors could teach other owls better ways of navigating, to which Sir Bors agreed. He then took the Guardian Oath along with the rest of the parliament.
Later, he takes part in the Battle of the Short Light and the Long Night.
