Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (video game)

Parzival mentions that his ancestor Strix Coraldo had once flown day and night from the Kiel Bay to the Ice Talons. She is only mentioned, never making an official appearance.

  • She is most likely a descendant of Hoole, as she bears the Strix title.
  • In the movie, the title of Strix is given to Short-eared Owls, despite them not having Strix in their scientific name, Asio flammeus. Since Strix Coraldo has this title, it would make much more sense for her species to be a Spotted Owl, Strix occidentalis.
  • In the DS version of the game, Parzival was a Short-eared Owl, thus Strix Coraldo would have been as well.
