The Sugar Glider, Petaurus breviceps, is a small, arboreal, nocturnal, gliding petaurid possum that is native to the border areas between Tyto Forest and The Beaks. In the Beaks, there are so many Sugar Gliders that one doesn't even need to try to hunt. Their meat is said to be sweeter than the meat of other prey. They and their close relatives are a favored prey item for both Lesser Sooty Owls and Greater Sooty Owls. Sweetums and Swatums in particular have a strong fondness for their meat.
