Thora Plonk and Moss's Pursuers were a trio of Barn Owls, or Tyto albas. They were members of the League of the Ice Talons during their war against the Kielian League, serving as soldiers trained specifically for raids on enemy settlements before their deaths during one such raid on a Stormfast settlement, amidst the chaos of which they were slain by the combined efforts of Thora Plonk, Moss and Lyze.

The Rise of a Legend[]
In preparation for a commando raid the followers of the Orphan Maker intended to launch on an enemy community situated on the island of Stormfast, the owls of the Ice Talons stole coals from the hidden forge of Thora Plonk (which had belonged previously to an arms trader of both sides), although Thora was able to escape with a collection of weaponry, warning Moss and Lyze just before their enemy swooped, screeching war cries of Bylyric and extending their Fire Talons. As the battle ensued, the three Barn Owls soon came into combat with Thora Plonk and Moss, fighting together in a pack as they struck at the Snowies, attacking in tight battle formation, their focus targeted completely on the two youngsters. This, however, proved to be their literal downfall when Lyze swooped in on them, severing the wings from two of them in a single slash that sent them plummeting with death cries. Left alone, the last of the three turned his horrified eyes on the Whiskered Screech, only for his forgotten pair of foes to strike, ripping at his tail feathers and tearing open his back, swiftly ending the life of the last three.
