Nothing is known about Whitney before the events of the game, apart from her deciding to travel to the Glauxian Brothers' Retreat despite her young age.

Whitney was likely one of the many acolytes that were trapped in a Devil's Triangle by the Pure Ones and their hagsfiend allies. When the Pure Ones assault is driven off, Whitney is eager to join Shard and his group to continue the fight against the Pure Ones.
